Travel to USA

Before you travel

Before you travel to the United States, make sure you have all the documents required to enter the USA. You don’t want to get stuck at the airport and then sent back home. Normally, a nonimmigrant visa or a visa waiver is enough for a short time visit to the US. You might not need a visa at all, check out US Department of State for more info. The US Dept of State website also has information about other types of visas all depending on the purpose of your travel. Most people arrive as tourists, are on a business trip, as a student, to work, or to immigrate.
